Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) applies to the health care sector. The Act enables members of the public to request access to records at Providence Care, and provides a set of criteria for what information can be shared and what should be kept confidential.
Some records held by Providence Care may be made available to you without making a formal request. If you have not done so already, before submitting your request please contact the Access and Privacy Coordinator at Providence Care at accessandprivacy@providencecare.ca or 613-548-7222 ext. 2373.
