Providence Care is affiliated with Queen's University and other educational institutions.Discovery is a key part of Providence Care’s Vision, to lead the way in compassion and discovery. As part of that commitment, Providence Care is proud to support and foster opportunities for teaching and research in a wide range of settings.
 
In our role as an academic health care organization, Providence Care is committed to creating, sharing and applying knowledge, and training the next generation of health care professionals.
 
 
Affiliations with Queen’s University, St. Lawrence College and other institutions
Providence Care is one of Kingston’s university hospitals, along with Hotel Dieu Hospital and the Kingston General Hospital. We are also a member of the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario. In addition to our affiliation with Queen’s University in Kingston, Providence Care also has agreements with other educational institutions, including St. Lawrence College.
