Since 1987, Providence Care's Regional Community Brain Injury Services has been enabling people who have acquired brain injuries to live full and satisfying lives in their own communities.
RCBIS provides rehabilitation and support services for adults who have sustained moderate to severe acquired brain injuries. We are fully accredited and meet the standards set by Accreditation Canada for acquired brain injury programs.
Every year in Southeastern Ontario nearly 800 people acquire a brain injury - usually from motor vehicle crashes, falls, and other traumatic events. While most people need only temporary assistance, some need life-long support. RCBIS supports adults who live in the counties of Hastings, Prince Edward, Lennox & Addington, Frontenac, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville.
