The Schizophrenia Rehabilitation Service provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support to severely mentally ill individuals who have been diagnosed with a recurrent psychotic disorder - the vast majority are adults suffering from schizophrenia.
Inpatient Units: Schizophrenia Rehabilitation Service
Four inpatient units (91 beds) are located at Providence Care Mental Health Services in Kingston. The units provide specialized care and rehabilitation to patients at different stages of their illness and recovery. The goal of inpatient care is reintegration into the community at the earliest opportunity.

The CHITT team provides transdiciplinary, 24/7 recovery oriented services that encompass treatment, rehabilitation and support. The team facilitates the transition from longer-stay inpatient care to community care and provides intensive services that augment the services available presently in the community including Intensive Case Management and ACTT.
